About Us

My photo
We met through work back in 2004. We began dating months later on February 15, 2005. We gave eachother rings by September of that same year. June of 2008 we began discussing babies. Natalie's 21st birthday was in September, so we decided to try with the doctors when we got back from vacation. In October 2008, we became pregnant, first try! We now want to share our journey through life with friends and family!

Look how fast he is growing!

Everything is going smoothly...

Well, the Dr's appt went GREAT!!! I have gained a total of 13 lbs in pregnancy; which is a pound over average, but ok. The heartbeat was nice and strong, which I know because I check it every night! :) I asked about circumcision since we know it is a boy. Heather and I both agree that it is something that we want done for him, and after talking to the Dr about it, we were re-assured that it is the right decision. They actually give him a shot which completely numbs the area and he doesn't feel a thing. He said the babies don't even cry. :) So, that was good news. I asked about some minor cramps I have been having and he said that through the next few weeks that they will happen and it is just from my ligaments being stretched and they will subside soon, just to turn into braxton hicks eventually :( LoL. He said that the report from the radiologist looked wonderful and that we look like we have a perfectly healthy baby coming. The baby has all of it's proper body parts and his heart looks great too. Also, no down syndrome markers appeared, so all good news. I have another appt set up in 4 weeks and then the 4 week appt after that one (April) I have to do the diabetes test. :(

We have been looking more at picking the nursery stuff out. The theme is Winnie the Pooh and I am really excited to paint more than anything. I need to get a hold of the lanlord and ask her if that is ok, as long as we prime and paint it back to white before we move out. There are a couple cute bedding sets that we like too, but we are going to continue looking until making a final decision on that one.

On that note... we will check back in soon.
