How things move so fast!

Ok, so it felt like it has been forever since we started this house buying process (even though it was faster than normal) and as soon as our appraisal came back, everything went really fast. We had our walk thru today and also signed closing documents which were rushed out and should be closing and recording tomorrow which means we get our keys as soon as the recording number gets to the real estate lady... tomorrow!!! Whoa! So, we show up at the house today for the walk thru and I brought my mom because she is really nit-picky and I knew she would catch things that we wouldnt. And the builder shows up, (Oh and it is pouring down rain outside and the house sits on a muddy foundation) and he gets out with his DOG and comes up to the house to let us AND HIS MUDDY PAWED DOG into the WHITE CARPETED house!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? I wouldnt let my own dogs do that. Thank God for my mom who was like, "Can you leave your dog in the car?" Of course the dog haw already ran into the house and all, and the guy is like "oh he is not dirty he came straight from my car to here." YA! Thru the mud into the house! O jeese! LoL He also was going to just walk straight into the house with muddy shoes until he realized everyone else was taking off their shoes. (New house Rule) Then as someone is walking up the stairs, the top of the banister up the stairs flips off and breaks! So, needless to say, there were some minor things he is having some people come out and fix tomorrow. I understand it is a "starter" house but, come on! So, that's the scoop. Heather and our friend are in painting the baby room back to white :( And me and the dogs are just chillin' eating some pizza!I will check in more soon! :)
