37 Week Appointment & A name change!!!!
Well, we had our appointment on Tuesday morning. I am dialted to almost a 2 on that day and 50% effaced out already! :) I have been having some light braxton hicks for the last few days, that have been pretty consistent and are coming with some slight pain now. The doctor said that it could pretty much be any day now. :) That is very exciting! Another exciting annoucement.... Heather changed her last name to match mine and Aiden's!!! We will be one big happy family with the same last name. We decided to make this change because it just seemed like it would be easier with schooling, health things and many other things. People just seem to question less when you and the child share the same last name! We are very excited and feel like we are just one step closer to our family... now all we need is Aiden!! I told him that he is considered full term now and can come out whenever he feels like it, but for some reason he is real comfortable in there! We also had our last birth class on Tuesday night. :( We loved going... we got to see a tour of the hospital we will be giving birth in, it is nothing fancy, but will get the job done! My mom had surgery this week, and is being discharged today, she is recovering farely well. Thats it for now... I will update more after the next appointment. This weekend is GAY PRIDE in Seattle and we will be at the parade on Sunday! I will get lots of pics to post!

36 Weeks...

Well, we are down to the one week appointments. YaY! As you can see, me belly is getting HUGE! LoL Everyone says I am going to pop at any moment. :) We went to the Dr's on Tuesday, and I am already 1cm dilated, and 25% effaced. So, Aiden is definitley working on coming out! Thank goodness! The Dr. gave me a ROUGH estimate that he was weighing aroun 7lbs ALREADY! :( Looks like we are going to be having a big boy! :) I told the Dr about how he has hiccups all the time, and he said that it is a very good sign that his lungs are developing well. So as annoying as they are LoL, I will take them! We are going to Dr's on Tuesday again, hopefully I will have progressed more. Also on Tuesday my mom is having a BIG surgery, then we have an appt for the fire dept. to check are infant seat, and then we have birth class, the final one! I absoultely love my birth class, and am sad to go. :( That is the scoop for now. We finished buying up the rest of our baby items, we should be getting a call from Babys'R'Us this week, for pick up of the nursery chair that we bought! It is super comfortable. We are pretty much ready for the little guy. The only thing I need to do is pack our hospital bag! :) Important part there, ya I am working on it. We are going to go look for some new jammies and stuff today. (Good excuse to get some new jammies!) I will update probably on Wednesday.

Heather's Birthday!
Well on Sunday June 14th, Heather had her 27th BIRTHDAY!! WooHoo.... I tried putting together this little suprise party for her, it worked out pretty good, but man was I tired after that day... it was ALOT of hard work, especially when one is preggo. :) Well, I had to send her out of the house for the day, this is on Saturday by the way, and she went with her nephew and niece to play put-put and go-karts. While she was gone, I went and bought her present, some diamond studs, and then I went to the store to get her favorite birthday mix, the rainbow chip one, LoL I know classic for the lesbian to love the rainbow chip cake mix. It is good though. I also bought stuff to make her breakfast casserole for her birthday breakfast. Then I went to Safeway and bought two big bouquets of balloons. While on my way to the car one of the balloons popped :( Not happy but ok, it is only one. THen I went home, baked 3 dozen cupcakes, and a mini cake and prepared the breakfast casserole. By that was done, she was on her way home to get ready. I had to rush out of the house with the cupcakes and balloons, which I was taking to this pizza place called "The Rock" where they would let me store the stuff until later when a friend of ours would arrive early and set up the suprise. WHen I got to The Rock, the waitress lady was grabbing the stuff out of my hands and I let go of the balloons, and they went flying up into their 50 foot ceiling and like 5 popped. So, I had to run across the road, to another store and get more balloons. Then rush home and get ready with her to go to a friend's graduation party. We ended up having to leave there sooner than we thought, and the friend setting up the suprise was not ready, and the people werent there yet, so I had to drive around aimlessly distracting her telling her, that the dinner reservations werent for another hour. LoL IT was chaos... so we finally get there and it was a big suprise. A bunch of friends and family showed up, we sat in the bar and she got to have a drink, (She has stayed sober with me the whole nine months) and then after all that fun was over, my mom took us to the casino with her and I started feeding her all kinds of drinks LoL She ended up winning $125 off a $5 bill in the penny machines. And I won $58 off my $20 WooHoo... we then went to Moonlight bingo at the casino, didnt win anything but had ALOT of fun. She seemed like she really enjoyed her birthday party. The next day on her actual birthday, my mom had a little BBQ at her house for us to come over and Heather's mom came with too. Then we went and ate ice cream with her sister and her kids. It was a great weekend!

Birthing Class!
Well, yesterday we started our birthing classes. We have them every Tuesday night 6:30-9:30 for 4 weeks! It was really exciting last night, there are 6 other couples in our group. I think that we are going to be learning quite a bit of information in this class. We began learning how to cope with pain last night, and it was very interesting. We also had a Dr's appt on Monday. The baby is in same position, I had him do a physical check, because I thought that I had lost part of my mucus plug. Turns out I am not dialated but the baby has dropped and his head was right down there, very low. He said that this is very good, and that the pressure from the baby's head will definitely assist in changing my cervix. He also said that my cervix is beginning to soften, and that he predicts he will be either on time or maybe even a tad early. :) YaY! So, good news so far! I have one more appointment in 2 weeks, and then it is every week after that until the little guy comes! We are SOOO excited to meet him! I cant wait till he is here. Meanwhile, we are preparing for the weekend; on Saturday after Heather gets off work, we are going to get pedicures and go for massages. :) Then my older sister and her husband are coming over to have dinner and bring over the baby shower gift, because they will be out of town Sunday, so we will have some quality time with them. Sunday morning we are getting our hair colored and cut, and then Sunday afternoon is our BIG baby shower! My mom has a head count so far of approx 75 people :) Yikes! That's a lot of people to talk to and a lot of presesnts to open. I am not going to complain though! :) My mom and both of my aunts are throwing the baby shower, and they are doing a wonderful job so far; my mom had the hefty task of sending out almost a 100 invitations!! WHOA Hand written! I am really excited, we have been waiting for the baby shower for a LONG time! :) My mom rented out the local senior center area :) to have it at, and my aunts are bringing all kinds of food and lunch items. It will be a blast. I probably wont update until after the baby shower and I will have to post a bunch of pics.
