Well on Sunday June 14th, Heather had her 27th BIRTHDAY!! WooHoo.... I tried putting together this little suprise party for her, it worked out pretty good, but man was I tired after that day... it was ALOT of hard work, especially when one is preggo. :) Well, I had to send her out of the house for the day, this is on Saturday by the way, and she went with her nephew and niece to play put-put and go-karts. While she was gone, I went and bought her present, some diamond studs, and then I went to the store to get her favorite birthday mix, the rainbow chip one, LoL I know classic for the lesbian to love the rainbow chip cake mix. It is good though. I also bought stuff to make her breakfast casserole for her birthday breakfast. Then I went to Safeway and bought two big bouquets of balloons. While on my way to the car one of the balloons popped :( Not happy but ok, it is only one. THen I went home, baked 3 dozen cupcakes, and a mini cake and prepared the breakfast casserole. By that was done, she was on her way home to get ready. I had to rush out of the house with the cupcakes and balloons, which I was taking to this pizza place called "The Rock" where they would let me store the stuff until later when a friend of ours would arrive early and set up the suprise. WHen I got to The Rock, the waitress lady was grabbing the stuff out of my hands and I let go of the balloons, and they went flying up into their 50 foot ceiling and like 5 popped. So, I had to run across the road, to another store and get more balloons. Then rush home and get ready with her to go to a friend's graduation party. We ended up having to leave there sooner than we thought, and the friend setting up the suprise was not ready, and the people werent there yet, so I had to drive around aimlessly distracting her telling her, that the dinner reservations werent for another hour. LoL IT was chaos... so we finally get there and it was a big suprise. A bunch of friends and family showed up, we sat in the bar and she got to have a drink, (She has stayed sober with me the whole nine months) and then after all that fun was over, my mom took us to the casino with her and I started feeding her all kinds of drinks LoL She ended up winning $125 off a $5 bill in the penny machines. And I won $58 off my $20 WooHoo... we then went to Moonlight bingo at the casino, didnt win anything but had ALOT of fun. She seemed like she really enjoyed her birthday party. The next day on her actual birthday, my mom had a little BBQ at her house for us to come over and Heather's mom came with too. Then we went and ate ice cream with her sister and her kids. It was a great weekend!

Happy Birthday to Heather!! Your post made me laugh because the only cake I've ever made for my wife on her birthday is rainbow chip. It's been our tradition for almost as long as we've been together.
